See I told you quick and easy…QAE or a CAS…clean and simple! Not really a whole lot to explain for this card, the green paper is from Basic Grey Fruitcake Holly Berries/Spearmint, obviously I used the Spearmint side…..lol!! I used an EK Success Dotted Wave border punch on the edge of the Spearmint paper, the ribbon is from PTI Pure Poppy Satin. The adorable owl is from Hero Arts Owl Christmas clear stamp set that I picked up at Michael’s…..woohoo!! He is stamped on PTI white cardstock with Memento black ink, colored with Copics, cut out and then popped up with foam booster, adhere some fun googly eyes. The sentiment is also from Hero Arts but from the Jolly Christmas clear stamp set that I bought last year and never got a chance to use until now…lol!! This is a 5.25 x 5.25 square card. Play Time, Snowglobe reindeer card!

Published by cwilliams under Christmas, Copics, Hero Arts, PTI, cards

I’ve been seeing a lot of snowglobe cards and some ornaments made with the Bo Bunny circle party favors. Soooo I got some for myself and had some play time in my studio today, this is what I came up with. Now remember this is my first one that I’m sharing with you. I went with CAS style, not knowing if it was going to turn out the way it did in my head…..lol!! I’m sure we have all been there before, we have a perfect picture in our heads of what it will look like, but comes out on paper nothing like the perfect picture in our heads!! Anyhoo here is my first snowglobe card, which I think turned out alright, kind of cute don’t ya think?

Snowglobe-1

Sorry about the glare, could not be helped! Don’t ya just love that little reindeer? I think he is so darn cute!!! He even has icicles on his nose, not what I had planned cause I didn’t let the clear glaze on his nose dry long enough….lol! I put Diamond Dust Glitter(shards of crushed glass) inside the globe along with some Martha Stewart Crystal Coarse Glitter, lots of sparkle

Snowglobe-2

The cute reindeer, snowflakes and sentiment are from Hero Arts. The cardstock is PTI White and Pure Poppy.

Elf Train

Today I have a cute elf train card to share from Rubbernecker. I had so much fun coloring this cute elf train, I colored the image with Twinkling H2O’s. Lots of shimmer, which unfortunately it doesn’t show up in the photo. I left this pretty simple as I’m going to be mailing this, so not a lot of embellishment.

Rubbernecker Stamp Co… has all Ranger products on sale 20% off until Sunday Nov 22nd 8 pm PST!!!

Inspiration Challenge 206

Hello everyone, I made a card for the IC206 over on Splitcoast. This is the first chance I’ve had to upload. First here is the link to the inspiration, what inspired me was the music background. I used a Scrapblock from CHF aged sheet music 6×6, that I bought at CHA and just now using it…lol!! Anyhoo it was stamped on PTI vanilla cream with vintage photo distress ink, I ripped the edges of the panel sponged the edges with vintage photo, added gold stickles glitter glue just to the edges of the panel with my finger, lots of sparkle!! The green card base is PTI Ripe Avocado. Gold satin ribbon , flowers are from Prima Calypso Tin Holiday Poinsettia. The sparkly gold center flower is by Petaloo Dazzlers. Merry Christmas is a Rubbernecker sentiment stamped in vintage photo, the tiny red gems are Taylor’s tiny  twinkles. I used a Spellbinders rectangle nesties for the sentiment. The red cardstock I found in my scrap box. Well that’s all folk’s!!
