OMGosh all of you are so sweet….Thank you so much for all your kind words and prayers. I feel so blessed, all of you have touched my heart!!
I went for my MRI with contrast(which means they had to stick me with a needle again) this morning…I didn’t realize how small they are once you get in there. I just closed my eyes and thought I was on the beach doing breathing exercises….you have to take a deep breathe let it out, take another deep breathe and hold it until they say okay breath, I think I did that about 20 times. So now the waiting beings…the hospital where I had the MRI said it will take about 10 hours to get the report to Dr. Burns, it usually takes 48 to 72 hours to get the report, but Dr. Burns put urgent on it. He was in surgery all day so I will not know anything at least until tomorrow. I figure no news is good news right! I’m gonna try and stamp something tonight to keep me busy and take my mind off the waiting….I’ve been so tired this week and the meds seem to make me sleepy and a little loopy…lol! So maybe tomorrow I will have a card or something for you to look at. Thanks again for all your support I really appreciate it. Staying positive has really helped!!
God bless you all and big Hugs!!!

Hi all, Some of you have heard that I have been sick , I spent Monday and Tuesday in the hospital with sever stomach pain. I can’t eat or drink without having terrible pain. They did an ultrasound and found a cystic mass on my pancreas that abuts the hepatic artery and covers the pancreatic neck/body junction, it is 7.0 x 7.2 x 6.2 cm in greatest axial. So they sent me for a CT scan with contrast. The CT scan confirmed with the ultrasound found. I beg to go home….. so they reluctantly let me come home as long as I follow through with all doctor appointments and take my meds. Duh!!(I so hate being in a hospital) I saw my primary care doctor on Tuesday(late afternoon) Dr. Ragno, he gave me a referral to Dr. Burns (he does General Surgery)I went to see him today (Wednesday) at 10:15am. Dr. Burns is sending me tomorrow morning 9:45am for a MRI with contrast to get a better look to do the surgery. They are not really sure what kind of mass it is or why it is there….One thing that all of the doctors have said is that ugly C word…….either way I will be having surgery and he will do a biopsy. Okay that made me very tired and I’ve cried so much this week and gone through every emotion that my body & mind are exhausted, so I’m going to lie down for awhile I will do my best to keep you guys updated. If you all could say a small prayer for me I would greatly appreciate it. I don’t think I have every been this scared in my life
Hugs to you all and think of me when you stamp I so miss it!!

This card was created for the Inspiration Challenge 112 on Splitcoast. The inspiration came from a Art Print by Angie Lewin, check out her site for more prints. My card looks nothing like the art print but I did get inspiration from it……I guess that is the point of it lol!!
I used Prism card stock for the base and for the main image panel. The designer paper is Basic Grey Skate Shoppe and Lily Kate Celery. The image is by Tim Holtz which I got from Rubbernecker and was stamped on white cs in black soot distress ink and over stamped in faded jeans distress ink. All the edges are sponged with faded jeans and black soot distress inks. I then sponged some shabby shutters distress ink over the flowers. I scored all 4 sides 1/4 inch. I used my Spica glitter pens in black and sky blue on the flowers…lots of sparkle!! I used the SU horizontal slot punch for the ribbon. I’m not sure who makes the light green rhinestone flowers. I hope you enjoy my inspiration card and thanks for stopping by!!!

Here is an up close photo so you can see all the sparkle!!

Boy it has been a long week……for me any way. My brakes when out on my mini van Wednesday afternoon with no warning what so ever….talk about scary!! I had an hour break at work Wednesday afternoon so I thought I would run up to Pearl arts and crafts and pick up the gamsol they finally got in. They had called the week before and told me it was in. Well on my way up there is when the brakes went out. I had to have it towed to the house the next day after work. Then today I ran around (using hubby’s truck) getting all the parts for my hubby to fix them for me tomorrow. I finally had some stamp room time around 3:00 today. When ever I’ve been away from stamping for a few days it seems like it takes forever for me to get the mojo going. I’ll walk in my stamp room and say to myself where to being….what will I make, what colors, what layout. I decided to check out the Limited Supplies challenge over on Splitcoast. Well today was to use leftovers, scraps of card stock, ribbon, designer paper….you get the idea. So this is the card I came up with base on the challenge.
I used Basic Gray card stock as my base, cut to 5.25 x 5.25 and some scraps of black card stock I had cut for something else and never used, also the Basic Grey designer paper Scarlet’s Letter. The “Celebrate” was already stamped on the basic gray strip so I used that. I added the prima flowers and the decorative brad with a small piece of scrap ribbon. I used 3-D red paint on the brad and flower stamen to add some color pop. This is a pretty simple card, but it felt good to make something with all the stress I’ve had this week. Thanks for stopping by, I have the next couple of days off so I’m hoping to get some more stamp time in so stop back by!!

Stamps: SU Wonderful Words
Paper: SU Basic Gray, Black; Basic Grey Scarlet’s Letter
Ink: White Craft
Accessories: Prima Flowers, 3-D Red Paint, Brad, White EP

This card is made with a sentiment stamp from Rubbernecker in the Stamp Oasis section under sentiments. The card size is 7.50 x 3.50 I used the colors from the color challenge today on Splitcoast. Real Red, Blue Bayou and Soft sky. I added some Cerise DP and vanilla shimmer. I thought this would make a nice card to either cheer someone up or for encouragement. The little flower sequins are from doodlebug design and the red rhinestones are from K&Company. I used my Nestabilities for the scallop circle and circles.

Yesterday on Splitcoast was the featured stamper challenge. Kathy C is the featured stamper and what a wonderful gallery she has. This is the card that my inspiration came from. I changed the pattern paper and the oval to a circle. I ran the ribbon through the circle, I got that idea from a sketch on Debbie Olson’s blog. The pacifier is colored in with a blender pen and distress inks. The card base is shimmer vanilla, pattern paper is Cosmo Cricket Little Girls which I got from Jacksonbelle Embellishments . I sponged the edges of the pattern paper with antique linen distress ink and the vanilla shimmer with tattered rose distress ink. I dotted white opal liquid pearls on the scallops. Used a 1″ circle punch for the sentiment, sponged the edge with tattered rose distress ink. The scallop, pacifier and 1″circle is popped up on mounting tape. Up in the corner I put 3 dew drops from the spring bloom bottle.

Good Sunday morning, every month Jami has been issuing
a challenge for all the past and present Dirty girls on Splitcoast.
The January challenge is called Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
This month’s challenge is to use any girl image and something sweet (you may interpret this in any way)….oh and no standard A-2 cards (4.25 x 5.5) any other size is fine.
My card is 5 x 7 I used and image from Rubber Romance that I bought back in June ….so many stamps and not enough hours to use them all lol…..when I met my twin sisters Jeanne and Sherry love ya guys. I used SEI Winnie’s Walls pattern paper, white and black card stock. I stamped the main image of the girl and paper pieced her hat, dress and bags with the pattern paper. The background (stores, trees and clouds are drawn in by me with a black micron marker (not have bad if I do say so myself he he!) I used Copic markers to color in everything. The woven label is by making memories. The main image panel and woven label is popped up with mounting tape to give some dimension. Her lips have glossy accents on them to make them shiny. The ribbon is May Arts satin reversable black/silver. The sweet part is the sweet shop were she just bought some yummy chocolates!!

Here is the SCS gallery where you will find all the challenge cards!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

I finally had some time to get in my stamp room and create something. Today on Splitcoast is the Limited supplies challenge, today is called Back to Backgrounds, LSC151. This is what I came up with for the challenge, with the limited supplies we are allowed to use. The background stamp is from Stampin’ Up(wild hearts), also the sentiment (So Many Sayings). The wild heart background is stamped on regal rose card stock in regal rose ink, I added some black and white dots to the background. The regal rose panel is adhered to a black card base. The heart is grungeboard by Tim Holtz. I covered the heart with fired brick distress ink and tattered rose distress crackle paint, very cool effect!! The grungeboard, distress ink and distress crackle paint can be found at Rubbernecker. The banner across the heart is a Martha Stewart ribbon style label. The black and pink stripe ribbon is from one of the ribbon share’s that Jody Morrow aka texasjodylynn had last year. I just love getting in on a ribbon share or any kind of share!! lol! Thanks for stopping by, I’m off to run some errands!
