Just “Bee” Cuz

Published by cwilliams under Rubbernecker, cards

I think this bee is just the cutest. I went with the colors for the color challenge this week on Splitcoast. Basic Gray, Going Gray, Yo Yo Yellow. I would have never put these colors together….but I like the way it turned out. The cute bee image is from Rubbernecker also the background and sentiment. The bee image is stamped on white card stock and then stamped again on Basic Grey Butter Pecan from the two scoops line. I cut out the bee and paper pieced the bee onto the white card stock over the first stamped image. I added some crystal stickles glitter glue to the bee….lots of sparkle! I used a white gel pen on the bee’s feet and hands. I colored the flower in with the SU yo yo yellow, mellow moss marker and a blender pen. I did some paper piercing on the yellow card stock, used a silver gel pen to add the faux stitching. The corners on the main image are done with a ornare border stencil and a black fine tip marker. The flower embellishment is from my stash, not sure who makes it, the rhinestone is from the Kandi Corp. Thanks for stopping by!!

Love Pocket

Published by cwilliams under cards

Good afternoon, I worked on this pocket card this morning. No stamping on this, but I like the way it turned out, I call this a scrappy card. The brown texture card stock is by Bazzill, the pattern paper and journaling card is Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar that I got from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. The heart is Basic Grey chipboard. I used fiskars cloud decorative scissors to make the scallops. The cream lace trim I think I found at Joann’s. The letter U on the heart is a rub-on from American Crafts mini marks Frank. I took 2 pictures so you can see the journaling card out of the pocket. I just love Cosmo Cricket paper!!! I will write something on the journaling card when I figure out who I’m giving it to, maybe my hubby. Thanks for stopping by!
