Hi, over on Trudee’s blog she is doing a inspiration challenge. I really like the inspiration piece so here is the card I came up with. It is a very simple card but I really like the way it turned out. The base of the card is shimmer white card stock, the pattern paper is again Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar (So loving that paper). I used the nestabilities for the squares. The sentiments are from MFT Going To The Chapel set. The crystal rhinestones are by doodlebug design. I used the SU ticket corner punch on the corners. Thanks for stopping by!!

Hi, today on Splitcoast is the Featured Stamper challenge and Renee aka PRCHVS is the featured stamper for this week, what a fabulous gallery she has too!! I looked through her gallery and this card caught my attention. My inspiration came from the 3-D look of the dragonfly.
The main image is from Rubbernecker, I just love these Bee’s so darn cute! The bee was stamped on white card stock, colored with prismacolor pencils and cut out. The ovals were cut with Spellbinders nestabilities dies. I stamped the bee again onto the white oval while both scallops were adhered to the pattern paper, I wanted the the star burst lines to come off the scallops onto the pattern paper. I did mask part of the scallop while doing this. Then the cut out image was adhered to the white oval. The pattern paper is by Cosmo Cricket called Hey Sugar that I got from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. I did some sewing around the card with my sewing machine. I did some sponging on a couple of the layers and the stars with Distress inks and a ink blending tool. The Bee’s winds and the big star have stickles glitter glue on them. I put glossy accents on the Bee’s eye’s. I used a white gel pen on the scallops. On the star burst lines I used a Spica gold glitter pen. I made the tag that the sentiment is on with a cuttlebug tag die which is also sponged with distress ink. This card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square. Thanks for stopping by!!

Good morning, a quick update…..I go back to see Dr. Burns on Monday morning at 10:30 to get the results of the MRI and I’m sure to schedule the surgery. I meant to post this sooner, just trying to keep busy to take my mind off the waiting. Hey I got a bunch of my ribbon rolled onto the 3×3 cards and I took some pictures of my stamp room with the new cabinets and counters that my hubby and his son put in for me around Christmas time. Thanks for stopping by!!

See the clear container of ribbon sitting on the small table…I got a lot of the rolled onto my 3×3 cards!!!

It’s still a work in progress…but hey it’s all mine and I just love it!!
