Okay I’m back and I made this cute picture frame with a picture of my adorable little grandson Jovi. The wood frame is from Michael’s and there only a $1, what a deal. I covered it with Crate Paper Brunch Collection with mod podge, the green paper is stamped with a bubble stamp(Texture Cube #55-01kk) from Rubbernecker in versamark. I stamped the bear and giraffe on shimmer vanilla cs with brilliance peralescent chocolate ink, embossed with vintage photo distress embossing powder, colored with Copic markers. The letters are from Tim Holtz grungeboard, they were painted with red acrylic paint, then I covered them with heart red fun flock. The buttons are from my button jar, not sure who is the maker of any of them, as I just dump them in the jars by color. The green velvet ribbon was from a ribbon share that Jody had. I hope you enjoy this, I had so much fun making it!!

Hello, this is going to be a quick post. I made this card for Beate’s Inspiration challenge, WT 163 and LSC165. The flowers were stamped on scraps of my minds eye pattern paper. The strip of grass, I used my scissors to snip the paper to make it look like grass. Sentiment is from PTI, the other stamps are from the SU set Mixed Bouquet. I made the glitter brads myself by putting some glue on them and dipping them in Martha Stewart’s crystal coarse glitter.

Sketch Challenge, Papertrey Inc Blog Candy!

Published by cwilliams under Challenge cards, PTI, cards

SC173-2

Hello, I’m feeling a little better today but I still didn’t feel well enough to go to work so I took the day off. I went and checked out the sketch for today over on Splitcoast SC173. My card for you today is based on todays sketch and yesterdays color challenge CC163.

I think I have just about all the Papertrey stamp sets, and I know I have all the paper, ribbon and ink that they have come out with in the last few months. Anyhoo what I’m getting at is that I received two of the FREE anniversary Simple Little Things stamp sets. This set was earned by dedicated customers who purchased 12 or more stamp sets during their first year. Now I want to give one of you a chance to win my extra set, I don’t need two of the same stamp sets….lol! All you have to do is tell me what some of your favorite Papertrey Inc. things are, weather it be the ribbon, ink, stamps, paper, pattern paper or maybe the color of the papers or all of the above! I will pick a winner Friday April 25 at 2:00 pm my time(Florida). I will announce the winner that afternoon!

On to the card……..This card is 5×5 in size, I made a matching envelope to go with it. Most of the supplies are from Papertrey Inc. I was inspired by a card that Taylor made with this tree. I added some flowers from the beautiful blooms set.

SC173-1

Supplies used:

Stamps: Papertrey Inc. Beautiful Blooms, Simple Little Things, Father Knows Best

Paper: Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, PTI Pink Patterns 6×6 & 12×12, White CS

Ink: Chocolate, PTI BerrySorbet

Other: Copics, Dew Drops, SU Word Window Punch

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

ETA: This is a brand new set but I did all the work for you by putting the stickers sheets on the front & back, and putting all the stamps inside the case for you, all you have to do is stamp, stamp, stamp!!!

This is now closed, the winner has been picked!

Hi everyone.

Happy

I have been so busy at work this week and my pancreatitis has been acting up, so I haven’t felt so good this week. What is it when you don’t feel good you seem to lose your mojo to create, however I did manage to play around in my stamp room last night after work.

I made a card using this weeks sketch and also the ways to use it challenge over on Splitcoast. I was trying to mimic the pattern paper with colors, shapes and the flowers. The DP is the new Basic Grey Sugared. CS is by Prism. Images and sentiment are from Rubbernecker. I used Colorbox fluid chalk ink, Rose Petals Queue in Rouge and Warm Red to make the flowers. The flowers were cut out and mounted on the Sugared DP with foam mounting tape at different heights to give more dimension.

sc172-wt162 -2

I used dew drops in the middle of all the flowers. The stems are made with green ric-rak ribbon. The sentiment is stamped on the Sugared DP in warm red, used my petite scallop circle lg, Nesties to cut out the sentiment.

SC172-WT162-1

Supplies used

Stamps: Rubbernecker

Paper: Basic Grey Sugared, Prism Yellow/Gold Color, White CS

Ink: Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink, Rose Petals Queue in Rouge and Warm Red, Yellow Citrus

Other: Ric-Rak Ribbon, Nesties, Dew Drops, Fantastix Coloring Tool, Glossy Accents
