Sketch Challenge, Papertrey Inc Blog Candy!
Hello, I’m feeling a little better today but I still didn’t feel well enough to go to work so I took the day off. I went and checked out the sketch for today over on Splitcoast SC173. My card for you today is based on todays sketch and yesterdays color challenge CC163.
I think I have just about all the Papertrey stamp sets, and I know I have all the paper, ribbon and ink that they have come out with in the last few months. Anyhoo what I’m getting at is that I received two of the FREE anniversary Simple Little Things stamp sets. This set was earned by dedicated customers who purchased 12 or more stamp sets during their first year. Now I want to give one of you a chance to win my extra set, I don’t need two of the same stamp sets….lol! All you have to do is tell me what some of your favorite Papertrey Inc. things are, weather it be the ribbon, ink, stamps, paper, pattern paper or maybe the color of the papers or all of the above! I will pick a winner Friday April 25 at 2:00 pm my time(Florida). I will announce the winner that afternoon!
On to the card……..This card is 5×5 in size, I made a matching envelope to go with it. Most of the supplies are from Papertrey Inc. I was inspired by a card that Taylor made with this tree. I added some flowers from the beautiful blooms set.

ETA: This is a brand new set but I did all the work for you by putting the stickers sheets on the front & back, and putting all the stamps inside the case for you, all you have to do is stamp, stamp, stamp!!!

I have every set except for one, so I too received 2 anniversary sets. If you happen to draw my name throw it away and draw another. I really like the new set Pond Life! I love your card today and the Dew Drops add that special touch! Love the colors you chose too! Very Springy looking!

I love their new customized colors with all the matchy-matchy ribbon, ink, etc. I just wish their shipping to Canada was cheaper! Cheers!

Beautiful card, Candy! I love those colors together and I love that you added flowers to that great tree! Also the Dew Drops add just the right touch! My favorite things are the new (well, not SO new now) Aqua Mist and Spring Moss colors. Now PICK ME PLEASE to win the free set!!!

First off, I must say that card is beautiful! I haven’t had the pleasures of PTI papers or embillishments yet, but I do love their stamps.
Your card is awesome. I just found your blog for the first time after seeing the card in today’s sketch challenge gallery on SCS. The image is awesome, the colors are soooo pretty and the DP is fabulous. I have got to get this set!

Your card is so pretty. PTI makes it easy to make beautiful cards. Never thought to put Berry Sorbet and Certainly Celery together. Looks great. My favorite thing(s) from PTI are all the packaging stamp sets (labels, tags, etc.) Of course, I also love the matching colors (just love the ribbon) and patterned paper. Oh yea, I almost forgot about loving the packaging items (boxes, tins, bags, etc). Okay, okay, I love all their stuff (even the way it’s packaged for delivery)! Thanks so much for offering your extra stamp set. I didn’t qualify for the current free stamp but I sure will qualify this year.

Glad you are feeling better. You are sure you don’t need two of the same set. You can make two cards simultaneously with both hands
I love their CS the most. The sets I have are okay, but seems like a lot of work to get one image done (for a lazy bum like me). I guess that is what makes them more versatile. The UPS guy brought more stuff from them today, so I will have to try them before I come to a judgment.

Well, I am most excited about the community PTI is creating. The stamp release party was a blast. I love their images and the great way they use their blogs to educate and help stampers make the most out of their products. The colors are great and they make it so easy to produce a beautiful finished project. Look at how they are teaching everyone to use the anniversary set, need I say more?

I love everything Papertrey.. I have 5 or 6 stamp sets, and some paper… I really like the card stock..

my favourite PTI stuff is my Mixed Messages stamp set… it’s just so useful for every ocassion!

How generous of you to offer your spare set up for a giveaway! My favorite thing about PTI is the bold graphics. I tend to lean towards solid images and what not when stamping, and they provide several very trendy, bold, solid type images.

I am new to PT. I just got 5 sets recently but haven’t been able to use them yet. I am a calligrapher and think they will enhance my ability to please my customers’ with their wedding line!
I love the simple clean look of PT.
The papers and CS are so wonderful. I recently received a card that used the berry from PT and the dotted ribbon and it was luscious! I will definitely be ordering some soon in every color!
If only Nichole could get this stuff into everyone’s hands…just a little swatch. I think they would be totally hooked on it! It’s thick, and quality!

What I love. Hmmmmmmmm, ribbon. I love the ribbon and the papers. They have such pretty colors.

What a beautiful card! I love the colors! I think that’s what I’m most excited about PTI - That there are coordinated sets of new colors - esp with the choices in beautiful ribbons. Nichole tries to make it easy for people like me (who aren’t naturally creative and talented!) to create beautiful work!
My fav. set is Polka Dot Basic.. there is something about dots that just get to me! I LOVE THEM!

I love their stamps! They are so elegant and versatile. I have not tried any of the supplies since I have so much of SU. I also love their clear card boxes. They are great for packaging my cards to sell.

I like the match between all their products. I often have problems coordinating papers with ribbons etc. so this system is perfect for me!

Hard to say which exactly is my favorite from PTI…but if I have to narrow it down it would be the paper. The white PTI cardstock is the absolute best I have ever used. It really takes a beating when I am using my Copics. The new twill ribbon is so soft and perfect for so many applications. The stamps sets are so elegant…love them! And the color coordination? Fabulous!! I can’t really find anything that I don’t like…

Ohh, Candy, this card is beautiful. I love the colors, and I think it is perfect for a sympathy card. Love the flowers in the tree, too. Gorgeous! As for my favorite PTI thing . . . probably the paper and ribbon. I just LOVE the colors. I don’t own any of the stamp sets (I know, I know, you are probably shocked), but we are trying to curb our spending for at least a few months to get some extra things paid off. It has been a tough couple of months not buying any stamps — Ugh! So this free set would be GREAT! *fingers crossed*

I really learn a lot from the samples made by different designers that show the variety of possibilities from one stamp set. My favorite set RIGHT NOW is Pond Life.

It’s wonderful that they are introducing them a few at a time ~ works well for those on a budget… and I think that’s pretty much everyone these days!!! I only have about 5 sets of the stamps so I didn’t make the magic number of 12! I’m going to try this year though. I really love the colours that Papertrey Inc has, especially the Aqua Mist. If only shipping and handling to Canada wasn’t so expensive!
