Making a Scene!!

DTGD08 Kittie- outside Hi all, two more days left for all the fabulous DTGD08 challenges going on over at Splitcoast. Kittie asked me to make a sample for her challenge that she is hosting today “make a scene” Kittie always makes the most beautiful scene cards, I am always amazed at her artistic ability to create a scene!! I was so happy she asked!!! I love to make little scenes, I know they are not as beautiful Kittie’s but I always have fun making them! Here you see the outside of the card. I also did a little scene for the inside of this card. Both scenes are done using the Kittie Kits from Rubbernecker Stamp Co. I figured what better way to cause a scene……opps……I mean make a scene than to use the kits Kittie designed for that purpose….right! The sentiment on the outside is made using my computer and the sentiment on the inside is from PTI Birthday Basics set. The DP is from My Minds Eye. I colored the ribbon with one of my Copic markers to tie in with the colors. On the water I used some white puffy paint. The non alcoholic beverage…….not……..is covered in glossy accents. Hey if I’m dreaming of being on the beach I will definitely have a nice cold alcoholic beverage, I know dreaming of one will not make my pancreatitis acted up…..lol! Everything is colored in with my Copic markers. Now go and cause a scene of your own…lol!!DTGD08 Kittie- inside

Oh Candy! This is absolutely WONDERFUL! I love scene cards! The inside is as fab as the outside! WOW! I’d be putting a little rum in my tum if I was on that beach too. (Instead I’m here with a cold cup of coffee, looking at a pile of bills I should be paying!)

Love the froth on the water’s edge, Candy. A perfectly relaxing scene! It’s like two cards in one — as wonderfully detailed inside as it it on the outside. You’ve got so many beautiful cards in your recent posts and I’m soooooooooo behind in visiting everyone!

Candy, both the inside and out of your card is wonderful. I love the crispness of your coloring and your frothy water’s edge. The fence line if perfect as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to make a sample for my challenge. I appreciate it so much.
