Hello everyone, I have a few cards to share today. My first card is for a pregnant friend that is on strict bed rest until the baby arrives, the doctors want the baby to stay in there for as long as possible, well not indefinitely….ugh…..at least until 36 weeks. I think she is at 34 weeks.

I needed a quick card for a client’s daughter. Her mother, my client is in the hospital(ICU) in critical but stable condition. She went into the hospital(over two weeks ago) with symptoms of pneumonia, was diagnosed with pneumonia and the swine flu. They(doctors) put her in a drug induced coma a couple of days ago, not sure why they did that, but if it will help her get better…… so be it!! I wanted to let her know that she and her mom are in my thoughts and prayers everyday! My client, her daughter is around my age with a daughter that is 8 or 9 years old. I just can’t even imagine what she is going through right now. If you could please send out a prayer for her mom and her to get through this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Okay I’m the worst when it comes to buying and not using it…ugh!! I did however use an image I bought about a month ago. I love the Rachelle Anne Miller Lily & Milo stamps, I’m using the candy time image today…….so darn cute!!! I colored this with my Copic markers and I forgot to write down which markers I used……sorry!! The little bee and the bag of candy have glossy accents on them. The bee also has stickles glitter glue on the wings, can’t really see it in the photo….trust me it’s there..LOL!!! The rest of the card is pretty much self explanatory. Ya know what…. now that I’m looking at the card I wish I would have used a darker green cardstock and ribbon, to late now it’s already in the mail!!

Using SU colors: Bermuda Bay, Dusty Durango, Soft Suede.

Using Prism colors: Vibrant Teal, Desert Coral Dark, Suede Brown Medium.

These colors for some reason reminded me of a coffee shop or a little sidewalk cafe. I needed a thank you card for a friend, I’ll be adding a coffee gift card inside. The coffee cup was paper pieced with Basic Grey Marrakech, covered with glossy accents……kind of reminds me of a ceramic coffee cup! I used my atyou spica glitter pen in the color sand at the top of the coffee cup and to make the sprinkles on top of the (white liquid applique) yummy whip cream, oh I also used the glitter pen over the sentiment.

I got a few of the Rachelle Anne Miller stamps, they are so darn cute! The one I used for today’s card is called giving shelter. I used a sentiment from PTI Mega Mixed Messages. I’m not to happy on how the back ground turned out, but I put so much time into coloring and cutting some of the images out to give it some dimension that I wasn’t going to give up. I added some shimmerz pixie dust to the back ground and I’m happier with it now.

I was trying to figure out which new stamp to use…..hmmm….decisions, decisions, decisions!! I decided on one of my OCL stamp sets, I also needed a birthday card so this set fit the bill. I just love the cute Botz Family!!

The birthday cake was colored then cut out and popped up with foam boosters. I used my Copic markers to color the image. A Spellbinders oval and scallop oval was used on the main image. I used my Fiskars Mini Scallop Paper Edgers to make the scalloped edge. The label is a cuttlebug die, PTI hibiscus burst polka dot satin ribbon to finish it off!

Here is my flower sample card, I so wish you could see this one in person….”Gorgeous” if I do say so myself….LOL!!! I left off the sentiment, but I will be using this one as a thank you card! I used the Floral Basket with Bow image. Part of the bow and also the 3 peach colored flowers are popped up on white foam boosters. The peach colored flowers have art institute glitter on them in sherbet, the center of the purple flowers have angel dust art institute glitter, the leaves have the vintage glass glitter in shamrock. Lots of sparkle in real life!! The main card base was scored with my scor-pal and then sanded with the Tim Holtz sanding grip. The card base is made with the core’dinations vintage collection reminisce, which I got at the craft super show on Friday. I have wanted to try this core’dinations cardstock for a while now…..very kewl cardstock!!! The ribbon(5/8 White Faux Suede Ruffled) I got from Jody, I had the pleasure of meeting her at CHA!! I colored the ribbon with my Copic marker in BV02.
