More Halloween cards and some blog candy!!!!
I hope you’re not sick of seeing Halloween cards here, I just can’t help myself…..lol!! I love making Halloween cards and I do send them out to a lot of friends and family. Anyhoo the 3 cards…yes 3 Halloween cards I’m sharing today, I think only one of them has any stamping on it. I’m trying to use some of the Halloween stuff that I have bought over the years and some new stuff too. Also to try and do/work with some thing different.
My first card is made with a Halloween sticker that I have had for years, from creative imaginations by Debbie Mumm. I stuck the sticker to a piece of black cardstock and cut around it, popped it up with some black foam boosters. I punched some bats from a Martha Stewart punch, added some yellow 3D paint with a toothpick to the bats. Added the sheer black ribbon and some googly eyes to the pumpkin, now I have one more Halloween card done!!! So what do you think of the sticker Halloween card?
My next card is made with a crafty secrets Halloween cotton scrap. I didn’t know where I was going with this card when I started to make it, but I do like the way it turned out…..not at first though, it kind of grew on me…..lol!! I wish you could see the shimmer on the green cardstock panel, I used the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Walnut Gold. I wet the panel, bunched it up then smoothed it out, sprayed it with the glimmer mist and let it dry. It kind of makes it look like a piece of fabric, to tie it in with the cotton scrap, which I frayed the edges of. The black felt flowers are I think from prima. I used a Martha Stewart border punch(arch lattice) at the top on some DP. I couldn’t get a very good photo of this card for some odd reason and the black flowers are straight even though they don’t look like it…..lol!!
Last card here is pretty simple. I used some K&Company Rob & Bob Halloween DP and Layered Accents. The pumpkins I thought are so cute & fun and the goofy looking bat….lol!! Anyhoo I made some grass out of old olive cardstock, cut the slits ruffed them up a little, stamped the sentiment in black and then went over the sentiment with a black stardust pen to add some shimmer. The dots on the DP have stickles glitter glue on them to add some sparkle! The pumpkins & bat come with a foam dimensional dot already on the back so I just stuck them to the DP. I think it turned out kind of cute!!
So what do you think of my quick and easy hardly stamped Halloween cards????

I love the card with the Debbie Mumm sticker - she has been a favorite of mine for years.
I think your cards are always great. And there is surely nothing wrong with making a card without stamping. I don’t celebrate halloween, so these wouldn’t be my favorites, but I like the funky pumpkins.
These are SO cute, Candy! Those eyes just crack me up! lol. I really like the printed fabric too! (And “hardly stamped” is a GOOD thing!)
Candy, they are all so precious.
These are all so cool, Candy! Love the googly eyes in the first, love the cotton scrap in the second and the third is my favorite! So friggin’ cute!!!
Super cute, Candy!
I like all of them, but the fabric scrap one is my fave. The border punch and the ribbon and the… well… all of it.
It’s pulled together nicely and I love it.
Halloween cards should be sweet and simple because you KNOW it’s all about the candy.
HUGS!
OMG! How talented you are! I wish I would have something else than two left hands!
Now i just have to run to a craft store and buy the material… before it’s too late!
I like the little mice….too cute! Thanks for a chance to win your generous blog candy!
Your cards are fun and cute!! Thanks for the chance to win! Please pick me, LOL.
God bless
Giovana
All the cards are adorable!!! I can’t even pick a favorite because they’re all so different and so Fun!
Love them all. Most of all I love to hear it when people dig out stuff they have had forever and se it to create a great card. I am a stamper but from time to time I like to make a card that is done with other materials too! Great cards always & I enjoy your blog a great deal.
Thanks for sharing.
Oh Candy all of your cards are wonderful! I love the fabric effect on the second one-great idea! The other two are so fun and whimsical-I really do like them all! I have so many accessories I should be using up too…it would be so much faster than stamping and coloring too! These are just perfect! Your prize packages are so generous! Have a great day!
I just found your blog - The first card is my favorite because it is my style. Here is what I think - if you are happy with your card then that is all that matters - this is a form of art and each person has a different “eye.” Thanks for sharing and also I must comment….your BLOG CANDY IS FABULOUS!
Love all the cards, halloween isn’t that a big occasion for card making in the UK, so at least I can get on with the Christmas cards!! Great blog candy, thanks for the chance to enter.

I love the image in the second one - Halloween is not a thing I ever celebrated but I have seen sooo many gorgeous halloween ideas, I am nearly finished my 1st ever Halloween project!
And I’ve no idea what a tool taxi is but feel I can’t live without one now!
I think you did a fabulous job on all 3 cards Candy! My favourite is the top one! Love those little bats!
Thank you so much for the chance to win–Love the bats and everything:)
I love the last card the best. I love the little details you’ve added and those pumpkins and bat are too cute! The pumpkin on the first card is a little too creepy for my liking lol. Keep up the great work and thanks =)
Really cute cards, all three, but my favorite is the 2nd one with the little vintage scene. I like the bats and the eyes on the first, the extras on the third, but still am drawn to the second one. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
I stumbled upon your blog and boy am I glad I did. Your cards are adorable. They made me smile from ear to ear. I like the added touches you gave to each of them. Great work! Ellek
Ooooh, pick me, pick me!!!!! I love your cards, Candy….don’t ya just love to make fun and creative Halloween cards!!! I love all the cute details and especially the googlie eyes….totally awesome, gf!!!!
Anyone would be glad to receive one of these cute Halloween cards. My favourite one is the cat & pumpkin because I just love the old vintage pictures.

Your cards are both FANTASTIC!!! I love them…and it’s inspiring to know we don’t have to stamp a bazillion things to make a cute card!!!
Your blog candy is awesome…you are SO generous! Thanks for a chance to win! dinobomp@aol.com
I think your hardly stamped cards are really cute, Candy! But I love everything you do. I wouldn’t actually have realized they weren’t stamped if you hadn’t mentioned it. Your coloring is just as good as any of the cotton scraps. I always feel funny about making a card with no stamping, but it’s fun just to go through the design process. It’s all about the fun, and I’ll bet these cards were plenty of fun to make. They sure look like it! Thanks for the generous candy offer!
Hum…what to comment on? I LOVE them all.
You have inspired me to make some cards!!!
I love the K & Company papers…hope to win!!!
Kim

I think I’ve missed the deadline, but just wanted to say that I love your cards. The pumpkins on the last one look completely mad!
Love these cards! They are so refreshingly different. I especially like the one with the border punch at the top, I’d like to get that one for myself!!
