Candy’s Land

Hello, one of the ladies I work with asked me to make a card for her granddaughter, she will be turning 13 this month. I went looking through my stamps to see what I could find….hmmmm that may take awhile as I have to many stamps…….did I just say that……..never mind forget I said that you can never have to many stamps…..right!

Anyhoo I came across this cute cuppacakeabella, thought it would be perfect for her. I used some DP by Junkitz from the Salsa collection, I really love this DP it is so fun and bright! The card base is Not Quite Navy and also the scallop mat for the main image, main image and scallop mat were cut with my square Nestabilities, sentiment and the mat were cut with my circle Nestabilities, from PTI white & Summer Sunrise. The main image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol using a blending stump. The ribbon is from PTI their new Summer Sunrise. I put a little dot of stickles glitter glue on the cherry. The rest of the sentiment is inside the card which says Happy Birthday. I didn’t want to add to many embellishments cause I know how 13 year olds are…… this will probably end up in the trash, so I went with cute and simple!
