Elf Train

Today I have a cute elf train card to share from Rubbernecker. I had so much fun coloring this cute elf train, I colored the image with Twinkling H2O’s. Lots of shimmer, which unfortunately it doesn’t show up in the photo. I left this pretty simple as I’m going to be mailing this, so not a lot of embellishment.

Rubbernecker Stamp Co… has all Ranger products on sale 20% off until Sunday Nov 22nd 8 pm PST!!!

Inspiration Challenge 206

Hello everyone, I made a card for the IC206 over on Splitcoast. This is the first chance I’ve had to upload. First here is the link to the inspiration, what inspired me was the music background. I used a Scrapblock from CHF aged sheet music 6×6, that I bought at CHA and just now using it…lol!! Anyhoo it was stamped on PTI vanilla cream with vintage photo distress ink, I ripped the edges of the panel sponged the edges with vintage photo, added gold stickles glitter glue just to the edges of the panel with my finger, lots of sparkle!! The green card base is PTI Ripe Avocado. Gold satin ribbon , flowers are from Prima Calypso Tin Holiday Poinsettia. The sparkly gold center flower is by Petaloo Dazzlers. Merry Christmas is a Rubbernecker sentiment stamped in vintage photo, the tiny red gems are Taylor’s tiny  twinkles. I used a Spellbinders rectangle nesties for the sentiment. The red cardstock I found in my scrap box. Well that’s all folk’s!!

Short and Cute!!

Hi everyone, this will be a short post with a cute and quick card I put together last night. The image(Stamping bella missmatch Ketto) was colored before I got sick….. with prismacolor pencils and gamsol, on solar white cardstock. Card base and scallop mat are PTI pure poppy, I also used PTI aqua mist and some Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck Early Bird. The sentiment also stamping bella was heat embossed. There is stickles glitter glue on her crown and the bottom part of her skirt. Spellbinders oval and scalloped ovals were used for the main image. Red velvet flower with pearl is from Joann’s by offray, the pearl was colored with a Copic marker in B01. PTI Pure Poppy Satin Ribbon.

BTW this image reminds me of me before I got sick with the chronic pancreatitis and they put me on all these darn meds that make me a little chubby wubby….lol!! Oh and back then I had short hair, not that any one cares… I don’t know why I felt the need to share that….lol!!

I’m loving these cute Ketto images!! I wish I would have got more than just one…but I also got Stella, Henrietta, No fair girl, little Emmy, Addy and a few others that I hope to share soon!

That’s all folks, until we meet again….lol!! I think the meds are making me goofy!!

I don’t know why mo & jo always give me such a hard time, when ever I don’t stamp, color or create something for a few days(darn work). It takes me for ever to get mo & jo going and by then it’s time to go back to work….lol!! Anyhoo I did however get them going for a few cards.

A Bear and a Bird…

Bear & Bird 4

How about a Christmas card today!! This adorable image is a Stampavie stamp by Gillian Roberts which I got from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. The image was cut out with a Spellbinders rectangle die, colored with Copic markers. The bear was then covered with fun flock in teddy bear brown. The fur part of the hat and snow were covered with snow white fun flock that had dazzling diamonds added to it to add some sparkle!! The cute little bird carrying the present was cut out and popped up for some dimension. The DP is from Basic Grey, figgy, wassail and mistletoe & pear. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink holiday wishes set, punched out with an SU large oval punch, I sponged around the oval with aged mahogany distress ink. The little green pearls are from Kaiser craft. I used some burgundy colored velvet ric rac ribbon to hide the seam of the 2 different designer papers. I just realized that I forgot to use my C2 Copic marker around the bear & bird for shadow…..drat!! Just imagine that it’s there okay…..lol!!

Up close view.

More Halloween cards and some blog candy!!!!

Published by cwilliams under Halloween, PTI, Stickers, cards

I hope you’re not sick of seeing Halloween cards here, I just can’t help myself…..lol!! I love making Halloween cards and I do send them out to a lot of friends and family. Anyhoo the 3 cards…yes 3 Halloween cards I’m sharing today, I think only one of them has any stamping on it. I’m trying to use some of the Halloween stuff that I have bought over the years and some new stuff too. Also to try and do/work with some thing different.

My first card is made with a Halloween sticker that I have had for years, from creative imaginations by Debbie Mumm. I stuck the sticker to a piece of black cardstock and cut around it, popped it up with some black foam boosters. I punched some bats from a Martha Stewart punch, added some yellow 3D paint with a toothpick to the bats. Added the sheer black ribbon and some googly eyes to the pumpkin, now I have one more Halloween card done!!! So what do you think of the sticker Halloween card?

Sticker Halloween card

My next card is made with a crafty secrets Halloween cotton scrap. I didn’t know where I was going with this card when I started to make it, but I do like the way it turned out…..not at first though, it kind of grew on me…..lol!! I wish you could see the shimmer on the green cardstock panel, I used the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Walnut Gold. I wet the panel, bunched it up then smoothed it out, sprayed it with the glimmer mist and let it dry. It kind of makes it look like a piece of fabric, to tie it in with the cotton scrap, which I frayed the edges of. The black felt flowers are I think from prima. I used a Martha Stewart border punch(arch lattice) at the top on some DP. I couldn’t get a very good photo of this card for some odd reason and the black flowers are straight even though they don’t look like it…..lol!!

Cotton Scrap Halloween

Last card here is pretty simple. I used some K&Company Rob & Bob Halloween DP and Layered Accents. The pumpkins I thought are so cute & fun and the goofy looking bat….lol!! Anyhoo I made some grass out of old olive cardstock, cut the slits ruffed them up a little, stamped the sentiment in black and then went over the sentiment with a black stardust pen to add some shimmer. The dots on the DP have stickles glitter glue on them to add some sparkle! The pumpkins & bat come with a foam dimensional dot already on the back so I just stuck them to the DP. I think it turned out kind of cute!!

Rob & Bob Halloween

So what do you think of my quick and easy hardly stamped Halloween cards????
