Two for Tuesday

Published by cwilliams under Copics, PTI, Rubbernecker, SFYTT, SU, TE Store

I have two cards to share with you today. Both the bear and the bunny are from Rubbernecker. The sentiments are from PTI. Both images are colored in with my Copic markers and I used Basic Grey DP on both cards. The bear was stamped twice with memento tuxedo black ink, I cut the second image out and popped it up to give some dimension. The bunny was done almost the same way, I just cut out the clay pot and bunny arms to be popped up. The white picket fence is a MS border punch, I cut a strip of Basic Grey DP to make it look like grass. The little white flower on the front of the clay pot is a cuttlebug die and I put a pink tiny twinkle on there to give it a little bling. The green rhinestones are from me&my big ideas, flowers are prima. On the bear card the black looking brads are candy dots and I just have to say that I love these candy dots….you just peel and stick, easy peasy!!!! The bear card is done for the FS over on Splitcoast for this week, Julie is the FS and she has a fabulous gallery…here is the card I picked. The bunny card is done for the sketch on Jen’s blog, i{heart}2stamp.

Great “catch”

Published by cwilliams under Copics, Rubbernecker, TE Store, cards

I started this card on Sunday and I’m just getting around to posting it here. My pancreatitis has been given me all kinds of grief, pain, nauseous and not much energy to do anything. I did however find some energy(pain meds helped too) to finish this card I’m sharing with you today.

The line, fish hook and heart I drew in myself…..it only took me like 20 tries to get it right….well until I liked it anyway…lol! The fish(is popped up) and seaweed are from Rubbernecker Stamp Co… I colored it all in with my Copic markers, I even airbrushed the blue background with a Copic marker. The fish has those cute little googly eyes on her/him. I used a Spellbinders Oval Die and left the paper in there while I did the airbrushing. The edge of the oval is sponged with distress ink in antique linen. The heart is covered with glossy accents, I sprinkled a little diamond dust on there while it was still wet. The bubbles also have glossy accents on them. I used a MS border punch to make the scallops, added some tiny twinkles in light purple & light blue…..even fish need some bling…lol! The sentiment is computer generated using Script MT Bold & Scroll in 18pt font. I used a Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio for the sentiment, along with some green shimmer grosgrain ribbon. The DP is from Cosmo Cricket Snorkel, I sanded all the edges of the DP with a white buffer block….ya know the ones you would use for finger nails. Being a Nail Tech I have a lot of them…lol! I think that is everything…oh I sponged the tag with antique linen distress ink. I think that little fish is just the cutest!!

Great “catch” 1

Okay I’m off to get some rest I have to work tomorrow….well now it’s today!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a fabulous day!!

Inspiration from another

Today on Splitcoast Karen Dunbrook is the featured stamper for the day/week, congrats Karen. I had some time to play so here is my card that was inspired by this card of Karen’s. A friend asked me to make a card for her vet(he is in the hostipal). One requirement was to have a cat and a few other animals on it. I have had this image(Inky Antics) for some time now and I don’t think I have ever used it?….and it’s so cute!! I colored it in with my Copic markers. I used Anna’s banner idea, sentiment was computer generated. I kept pretty much the same layout, changed the colors, image and added the banner with button. Okay I’m off to see if I can get another card done today before my son gets home from being with his dad all weekend.

From all of us…
